About Neonita and Our Company History
Neonita is a Vilnius-based team that transforms logos, lettering and sketches into individual illuminated signs for companies, designers and private clients.
The company has worked in Vilnius since 2008. Rather than inventing a milestone for every year, our history is best understood through the experience accumulated in design preparation, traditional glasswork, electrical assembly, testing and the practical planning of signs for real interiors and exterior advertising.
Traditional glass neon remains a central specialism. Neonita also creates custom LED neon signs for modern commercial and private interiors. These methods are not presented as interchangeable products. Each has a different construction, visual character and handling requirement, and the recommended direction follows the artwork, setting and intended effect.
We work from customer ideas: a finished logo, a phrase, an illustration, a wall photograph or an early sketch. The purpose is to preserve the character of that idea while resolving the dimensions, colour, materials, power and mounting needed to turn it into a physical illuminated piece.

Working in Vilnius since 2008
Experience built through individual projects
Neonita’s work spans company logos, exterior advertising, shop windows, hospitality spaces, fuel stations, stores, offices, public-facing interiors, events, homes and apartments. Each category presents different questions about scale, visibility, atmosphere, exposure and mounting, so it is useful to discuss the intended setting at the start of an enquiry.
Every new enquiry is assessed on its own information. The same wording can require a different scale in a small home interior and a busy commercial room. A glass sign and an LED sign with a similar outline still require different production and mounting decisions. Years of work are useful when they help identify these differences early and explain them clearly to the customer.
Traditional craft
How we make a glass neon sign
The customer sends a logo, lettering or sketch with preferred dimensions and colour. Neonita adapts the design to glass and prepares a full-size production pattern after the visual is agreed. A skilled glassblower heats and bends each tube by hand to follow that pattern. Electrodes are fitted, and the tubes are processed and filled with neon or an argon-based mixture; the gas and tube coating influence the final colour.
The tubes, supports, high-voltage cables, transformer or electronic power solution and mounting parts form one electrical assembly. The completed sign goes onto a test stand so brightness, connections and stable operation can be checked. After final inspection, it is packed for delivery or prepared for an arranged installation.
Contemporary sign construction
Custom LED neon for logos and interiors
LED neon uses flexible illuminated profiles with diffusers, generally supported by acrylic backing. It can form text, logos, symbols and decorative outlines in a range of available colours. The current configurator includes a remote-control option for suitable projects. Backing, electrical components, any control option and mounting are selected around the design and declared operating conditions.
The method often suits detailed commercial identity, feature walls, events and private interiors. It still benefits from a careful brief: correct artwork, dimensions, viewing distance, wall material, ambient light, electrical point and cable direction. A modern material does not remove the need for design discipline.
Materials used in our production
Components are selected for complete Neonita signs
For traditional glass projects we use selected tubes, electrodes, supports, cables, paints, transformers and mounting parts. Where suitable, those may include Tecnolux or Glostertube glass, SIET or F.A.R.T. transformers, and Tecnoservice, Hansen or other appropriate electronic solutions. The exact selection depends on the sign.
Neonita does not sell these components separately. The main production materials are kept at the Vilnius workshop, and a particular tube, colour or technical component can be sourced for an individual project. This approach keeps material decisions connected to the finished design and operating environment.
A practical collaboration
From an idea to an approved, tested sign
A useful enquiry includes the artwork or wording, approximate dimensions, a location photograph and the desired date. We discuss the purpose, scale, colour, production method, backing, power and mounting. Before production, the customer checks spelling, proportions, dimensions and the intended cable position.
The completed sign is checked before handover. If installation is part of the discussion, site conditions and responsibilities are agreed for the individual project. This clear sequence allows designers, businesses and private customers to understand what information is needed without requiring them to solve every technical question alone.
